The next product in the box is ideal for keeping my mani and pedi perfect wherever I go. This summer has been wrecking havoc on my skin between the sunscreen, pool, beach and ocean. What a fresh take on the ho-him nail file that gets lost in my cavernous purse.  Naturally I stashed it right in my purse but this one I can find easily whenever I need it. A deal at $4.99.

If you want to save space you can pop the sleek, black compact out of the colorful green case and use it solo. If you want just keep it in the bright green protective case for everyday use. It has colors galore to spice things up anytime. They are priced reasonably too so enjoy...pick up a several colors to match different looks.  This would also be a super cute little gift tucked into a gift bag for your best friend, your girls.  At this price I can collect a few more. Retail: $10.99  

I love a good eyeliner that adds dimension because it really defines the eyes. Starlooks Luxe Longwear Eyeliner Pen in Plum is an ideal liner. I use eyeliner most days for work.  My everyday makeup routine includes moisturizer, mascara, a bit of eyeliner and lipgloss. I am thrilled because this eyeliner goes on smoothly so I can swipe on some defining color in a flash. This plum liner gives me a fresh swipe of color to add some dimension to my hazel eyes. This is a winner for me since it is waterproof...tada! Perfect on my busy days when I just want a light makeup look but perky, defined eyes. I am looking forward to bright eyes this fall. I have to say it lasted all day for me. A good deal at $19.99.

The final item in this exciting August box is a Hask Beauty Deep Conditioning Hair Treatment that is a cult classic among the ladies in the know. This girl loves her conditioned hair so I was happy as can be. Sunday is my Spa Day so the timing was perfect.  I love that I can undo some damage and dryness in a flash. I don't have a ton of time so I 💗 that it only take 10 minutes. Easy to use and there are lots of options to choose from so you can find the variety that works best for your own hair type. Nothing wrong with a little spa day for your hair before a special night and this hair treatment makes it easy to achieve. A secret beauty bargain at $2.39 for 1.75 oz.

The next item was from Love Life Skin. This product was created to help support patients undergoing chemotherapy. The next product in the box is perfect for a summer shine. OFRA Lip Gloss comes in tons of pretty colors that add a sparkling shine to lips anytime. The compact tube is the perfect size to tuck in a tiny tote or evening bag and it is made in the USA.  I would definitely buy additional colors since I am a total lip gloss fiend. This pretty lip treatment is moisturizing and will tuck perfectly in a weekend bag or traveler.  A few things I really like....that Natural shade is ideal with any outfit plus my lips feel smooth and look gorgeous too. This is a great option for showering up or bathing anytime. A good value at $12.95 for 8g.

This liner from OFRA keeps my lips looking fresh for hours under the gloss. They come in assorted colors but the mauve tone is just perfect and enough to add a deeper level of color.  These OFRA lip liners are priced reasonably too so I will consider picking up another one along with a gloss.  At this price I can collect a few more. $13.00  

Gotta love my nail polish especially in summer brights like this one from Nanacocco. It is a beautiful shade of peony that pops with my summer colors like tangerine and celery green. It goes on smoothly and stays all week long without chips.

Purlisse is keeping me trendy with these temporary tattoos in golden shades. Easy to put on and even simpler to take off when you are ready to return to the real world of work.

Giving BackPacks Event: How far can I stretch $25 to buy school supplies for kids in need? #givingbackpack #aldi @realadvicgal @AldiUSA

I had the opportunity to participate in a great event recently to benefit underprivileged kids. It is an annual event called the Giving BackPacks Event. Aldi is the generous sponsor of this event for 2015. Bloggers like me volunteer to purchase at least $25 worth of school supplies including a backpack for Back to School to support a child in need. Bloggers can choose to supplement with additional items from your own pocket if they so choose like I did. The goal is to stretch the $25 as far as you can to get the most for your money.

Have you discovered Aldi yet? There are so many stores in my area and I just keep finding more as I drive around the state for work. Several of my friends and I have been sharing the Aldi secret for a while now. They have everything you need to feed your family and care for your home at great prices. Are you ready? They even have tons of organic products like snacks, canned foods and more. You can't beat that because you know how expensive organics can be. If you are on a budget Aldi can really help cut the corners and save you a bunch of cash. Aldi has even stepped in with great prices on school supplies from backpacks to highlighters and pens. I even found locker decor! You can buy everything you need for your kitchen and home plus get the kids stocked up for school in one trip by stopping at your local Aldi.

I started trolling the stores including Aldi a few weeks ago when I found out I was participating in this charitable event. It was easy to find back to school deals since stores like Aldi know moms like me are busy and they stock up early.  This is an important project as it benefits kids in need.  I was able to swing by a local Aldi and I picked up just over $25 in supplies including a great backpack. I am supplementing what I bought at Aldi with some additional items like crayons and colored pencils that I had already picked up earlier this year.

I contributed some out of my own pocket but I did it gladly to help out kids in need. Kids need supplies to learn and if this can help then I am in to assist wholeheartedly. This was a wonderful project that I am thrilled that I was able to participate in along with Madame Deals and Aldi.
