Beauty Box Five Hello! January 2015 Subscription Box Review @beautybox5 #coastalscents #sallyhansen #fusionbeauty #softsoap #garnier

Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample of the products for review purposes. The opinions are my own, based on my personal experience with the product.

I love it....Beauty Box Five has the most amazing outlook 365 days a year.  My little blue box from BB5 helps me manage to keep it all together at work and at home to freshen up my glam look no matter whether there is sun, rain or snow.  BB5 shows you how you can squeeze in quality beauty time into even the chilliest days of January with a few beauty assistants.  Check out all the trendiest of warm winter fashions and hot colors...don't forget to bookmark your fave finds and share with friends too. You just found a few goodies to share with friends along with a hot cup of cocoa....don't forget the marshmallow.

Everyone loves getting the inside scoop. I like trying new beauty products from sunscreens to lipsticks and find that I often find new faves.  That is one of the great things about BB5.  You can try lots of new things and sub in new favorites without being stuck with a huge bottle of this or that. I happens to the best of us even with green intentions. Sometimes I look at a product in the store but I worry it might not be for me and I don't want to spend all that money if I don't know that I really like it.  Who needs something else to sit on the bathroom shelf or take up more room in a drawer? I would always feel guilty. Every once in a while you get lucky and the store has a sample or perhaps a beauty company sends you a sample and you get to try it first.  That is the premise behind BB5.

The ideal solution for all of us is brought to you by Beauty Box 5. They understand  and created their great sampling box program. Beauty Box 5 is an amazing subscription beauty box sampler that is delivered right to your doorstep (or mailbox) filled with a combination of 5 brand new cosmetic samples monthly, quarterly or annually. You can start out at just $12 a month or save more by getting a longer subscription. Signing up to receive Beauty Box 5 each month is a great new way for anyone from teens to moms to sample new cosmetic products and see what works for you.  Each month they include tips and tricks for the products on the back of this little card below to help you get the most out of your beauty samples each month.

Beauty Box 5 is always on the lookout for the latest new items to make the best matches for your own personal taste and lifestyle.  The prices are reasonable too. You can get a Beauty Box 5 monthly for $12, quarterly for $30 or annually for just $99.  Shipping is always free.  A fun way to check out lots  of the new beauty stuff out there without a whole lot of $$ investment. The great part is that if you like something, you can just up and buy the full size item, right?  Much better than buying a full size you-know-what-beauty-item and paying a fortune and then it sits in the makeup bag gathering dust because it doesn't work for you.

Beauty Box 5 mixes it up with their brands and keeps things adventurous. They source from a mix of niche, luxe, regular drugstore, vegan and eco-conscious brands.  One month you might get hair care, nail care, makeup, skin care, fragrances or even beauty accessories or a mix of any of the above.  I love the suspense!  You will get a carefully curated blend of travel, full-size and deluxe samples from their most current collection.

I just received the January Hello! Box this week.  The team at Beauty Box 5 wants to remind you to take care of yourself care no matter what the chilly season. Don't forget about yourself even in the busy-ness of trying to get back to business. Take a few minutes and say Hello! to yourself and to friends. Take good care of yourself with some of these goodies. You will feel so much better about taking on challenges and saying Hello! to someone new or even a new project. You will look great doing it too which helps a bunch. Sometimes it is a challenge, yes it is sure but I do it too. We deserve to take a little bit of time to beautify and keep our look fresh even as we work hard all week long. Beauty Box Five is here with a few special treats to help you along the way.  Say Hello! to new possibilities.  Here is the scoop on the amazing treats that were in this sweet sea blue January box:

As always It was chock full of amazing goodies that I could not wait to try. There were goodies for my hands, face and body tucked in there this month.  Lots of special items to keep me looking fresh and alluring wherever my chilly winter days take me.  They take me all over too....from the the mid-Atlantic to Florida and who knows where else this winter. We will have to see. I am one busy mama!

The first item in this box is a sample of SoftSoap NutriSerums Body Wash. I love these mini sizes to take with me on my business trips. It is a moisturizing treat that performs well at a bargain price.  I love all the scents and they are very gentle on my sensitive skin. I really like their bodywashes and creams and pick them up often at my local RiteAid. I used this one several times this week and my skin felt great after my shower. I love the rich lather and my smooth skin. Retail: $8.00/15 fl oz.

The next product in the box is perfect for perking up your nails in the chilly January weather.  Sally Hansen Salon Effects in Strip-Tease is an easy way to have some fun. This adds some serious style and punch to all that black we see this time of year. I love fun manis...they just add fun to the day. Sometimes I use these on my toes too.  Even more fun is the fact that you will have a perfect mani or pedi for up to 10 days. Peel and apply strips to your nails in a flash and smooth them over. Shape with the emery board and you are done. Even better is that they remove quickly with regular polish remover. Consider that this a fun little option to add some zip to your winter wardrobe.  A deal at $9.99 for 16 Nail Polish Strips.

Have you ever tried Garnier products? They are the beauty secret bargain available everywhere at my local and chain pharmacies. They perform well and are priced reasonably.  I love this Garnier Shampoo.
I have to say....I have been using their products ever since they launched a bunch of years back and they keep innovating. I really like several of their skin and hair care products a lot. I tried this one yesterday and my hair felt so so soft and clean. I love the rich lather and my hair styled perfectly. The price is reasonable at $3.99 13 oz

I love a good mascara for two reasons. My lashes are not very long and not very thick. If a mascara can solve both those issues then I am thrilled. Ultraflesh The Gold Standard Mascara in Blackout gives me thick, long lashes just like I always want. This is a winner for me especially during my busy days when I just want a light makeup look but L-O-N-G lashes. I am looking forward long lashes all winter long. They even suggest a few coats for super long lashes. I have to say one coat worked beautifully for me. A good deal at $21.00 for 0.2.7oz

The last item in this exciting January box for a final surprise is a tiny sample of 4 super pigmented eye shadows.  Coastal Scents Eye Shadow gives you tons of options.  I never tried these before but the colors really rock it for winter and add a ton of depth to my eyes. This little container is so small it is perfect for quick work touch ups or even travel.  A complete steal at $1.95-24.95.

So, are you ready to get in on the fun? The ladies from BB5 have put together another really amazing box full of beauty fun perfect to take you straight into Fall. Don't forget to join Beauty Box 5 and get in on the goodies to keep you looking fab all four season.

After you join, you can even spread your good fortune via Instagram and have an opportunity to win full-size versions of these products too! Don't forget to tag @beautybox5 and #bb5fave so they know that it was you spreading the love around!
