Abundant Harvest for Teens & Adults Review + Giveaway #FaithandFamily

It can be a real challenge to find wholesome board games for family game night. How can a good parent get the kids unplugged? I recently had the opportunity to do just that with an innovative new board game that makes kids and adults alike THINK.  Abundant Harvest® for Teens & Adults is a patented, award-winning conversation game designed to help parents and educators open a door (in a fun way!)  to more effective communication, encourage decision making based on principles such as honesty, loyalty, and commitment with the intent of reinforcing the Law of the Harvest, simply, “you reap what you sow.”

What does this fun game make you think about?  Abundant Harvest for Teens and Adults encourages open discussion on real-world situations and players are asked the question, “What would YOU do?” The questions are designed to not have a real definitive answer but to make the players go a little deeper inside themselves.  Teens and adults alike get to think about how their decisions, good and bad, might affect others and themselves in the short and long term. Some of the questions really bring up topics that patents might not have discussed with them but are important to their health, safety and happiness.

Adults will enjoy the opportunity to interact with their teens in a personal but fun manner that doesn't happen as often as they like these days with the Internet and endless activities. Harvest® for Teens & Adult also opens the window a bit into the teen mind and provides an opportunity for more expansive discussions. Kids feel comfortable speaking their mind because, after all, it is "just" a game night.

My thoughts:  We love board games from Scrabble to Sorry but Harvest® for Teens & Adults is different.  It is a board game with some special benefits.  It was a lot of fun to play and really got the whole family talking about morals, right and wrong and what it means to be a kind, thoughtful person. Harvest® for Teens & Adults provides a relaxing opportunity to put away the electronics and have some time together reinforcing our beliefs and ideals as a family.  This is a great game for educators, families, Sunday School teachers or even teen camps.  The suggested age range is 13+which seems reasonable considering the nature of the game. Children much younger than that would probably have some challenges with it unless they are very precocious. You can buy the Abundant Harvest game for Teens and Adults here. I would play with my husband and teenaged sons. I would play with my daughter, too, when she visits from college.
