Disclaimer:  I received party materials and ice cream as complimentary through MomSelect.  As always, my opinion is my own.

We had our Cadbury High Tea Party this past week featuring Cadbury Ice Cream Bars by Blue Bunny.   The girls were so excited about the fancy tea set and the adorable hats....there were tons of choices and colors but they were all beautiful.  Feathers and clips...it was a really fancy affair!  They made up games and had themselves in hysterics. It was funny because the boys had zero interest in the dress up but they were totally into the Cadbury Ice Cream Bars...what a surprise lol!

It was so hot outside that I decided to make iced tea to have along with our Cadbury Blue Bunny Ice Cream Bars and bring the party downstairs so we could enjoy the chill of our beverages from our special tea set in comfort.  I made freshly baked cupcakes  and let the girls frost and decorate them as they liked.  I put out containers of frosting in different colors that I had whipped up earlier and colored with natural food coloring from India Tree.  They had fun with that too!

Everyone enjoyed the Cadbury Blue Bunny Ice Cream Bars but I have to say that the Chocolate Covered Vanilla Bars were the most popular of all...at least for the kids!  There are a bunch of flavors to please any taste including the yummy Cadbury™ Vanilla Chocolate Ice Cream Bars  and English Toffee Ice Cream Bars.  Each box has 8 snack size bars so there is plenty to go around even if you only pick up a box or two. Each bar is a good size....not gigantic but satisfying.

The girls went loony the minute I brought out the Blue Bunny Cadbury Ice Cream Bars and let them pick their flavors.  they were hopping up and down with excitement.  Kara said that her mom buys them for her sometimes when she is a good listener.  Janelle said her mom buys them too.  Several of our other friends came over a little later and the kids enjoyed the bars as much as the adults.  As it cooled off, it was nice to sit down with friends and enjoy a nice, cool treat.

It was a fun little party. I can't wait to pick up more Cadbury Ice Cream Bars to have on hand since it seems like the heat wave is not letting up anytime soon. There is nothing like a cold, creamy ice cream bar to cool you down on a warm summer day.

Here are a couple of fun recipes to make with your Cadbury™ Ice Cream Bars if you are feeling a little creative.
