4th of July F-A-S-T Recipe: Red, White and Blueberry Pasta Salad

I love the 4th of July.  It is one of my favorite holidays!  There are so many fun patriotic recipes that you can make from main dishes to desserts.  It is never ending.  How about taking your 4th of July celebration from ordinary to extraordinary for 2013? By using quick and easy stir-ins, Suddenly Salad can be whatever you make it: a simple side dish, star of the backyard BBQ, or a crowd-pleasing main course. 

My Very Favorite 4th of July Red, White and Blueberry Pasta Salad 

Prep Time 20 Minutes

Total Time 50 Minutes

Makes 6 servings
 
1 box Betty Crocker® Suddenly Salad® classic pasta salad mix 
Water and vegetable oil called for in salad mix box 
1 cup diced red bell pepper  
1 cup blueberries, rinsed well
1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese (I like low-fat or fat free feta cheese)

Make pasta salad as directed on box.  Stir in bell pepper and gently fold in blueberries. Sprinkle with feta cheese. Refrigerate 30 minutes before serving. Cover and refrigerate any remaining salad. Makes 6 servings Calories 220 (Calories from Fat 60),
